Frequently Asked Questions
What is Community Motherhood?
Community Motherhood is a safe, welcoming space for moms to connect, find support, and feel seen in every season of motherhood. We offer support groups, parent-child bonding classes, postpartum services, and community events, all designed to nurture both moms and little ones.
Who can join
Community Motherhood?
We welcome all mothers! Expecting moms, new moms, seasoned moms, and those who have
experienced loss. Whether you're navigating pregnancy, postpartum, toddlerhood, or beyond,
there’s a place for you here.
Do I need to
register in advance?
Yes, we recommend registering in advance to reserve your spot. Some groups and events
have limited capacity to keep them cozy and supportive.
Where are you located?
We’re located in Downtown Edmond, Oklahoma. Some services, like postpartum helper visits and nursery organization, are offered in-home locally
Are your services just for first-time moms?
Not at all! We support moms at every stage. Many of our members have multiple children or are navigating motherhood after loss, career changes, or entering the empty nest phase.
Do you offer free or low-cost options?
We believe support should be accessible. We offer free trials for certain classes and occasional community events at no cost. Most of our groups are low cost, ranging from $10 - $15 per session, to keep services accessible.
Can I bring my baby or child with me?
Absolutely. Most of our programs are baby- or child-friendly, and some are specifically designed for you and your little one to enjoy together. Search the group descriptions for more specifics for each group.
How do I get started?
You can browse upcoming groups and services on our website or reach out directly. We’re
happy to help you choose the best fit for where you are right now.
I’m a provider, can I refer a patient or client to you?
Yes! We welcome referrals from healthcare professionals, doulas, therapists, and more. Let’s
collaborate to support the moms in your care.
How can I stay updated on events and offerings?
Follow us on Facebook or Instagram, to stay up to date on upcoming events.
Do I have to make a weekly commitment?
Not at all! While some moms love the consistency of coming each week, all of our groups and classes are designed to be flexible. You’re welcome to come when it works for you, no pressure, no guilt. We know life with little ones can be unpredictable, and you're always welcome here, whether it's once a week or once in a while.
