Why Asking for Help is a Superpower, Not a Weakness

Somewhere along the line, moms were handed this impossible story:
“You should be able to do it all.”
Do it all with a smile. Without help. Without rest. Without falling apart.
But that story isn’t true, and it certainly isn’t kind.
Asking for help doesn’t mean you’re failing, it means you’re human.
It means you’re wise enough to know that motherhood was never meant to be a one-woman show.
Asking for help might sound like:
“Could you hold the baby while I shower?”
“Can you bring dinner next week?”
“Would you check in on me in a few days?”
“I need more support than I realized.”
This is what strength looks like.
This is what love looks like.
This is what thriving in motherhood can look like.
You were never meant to do this alone, and you don’t have to.
