We spend so much time planning for birth.
The hospital bag. The baby gear. The registry. The classes.
But what about you? What about life in those tender, blurry, beautiful, exhausting weeks after baby arrives?
That’s where a postpartum plan comes in.
Not because you can plan for every moment (you can’t), but because you are worthy of care, preparation, and softness too.
A postpartum plan might look like:
→ Deciding who will help with meals, laundry, and errands.
→ Writing down what helps you feel calm, rested, or comforted.
→ Setting boundaries for visitors or asking for quiet time.
→ Making a list of people you can call when you need to vent or cry or laugh.
→ Lining up a support group or mental health resource ahead of time.
This is not over-preparing.
This is not selfish.
This is love.
Because a cared-for mother is the best gift to herself, and to her baby.
